Thursday, 10th April 2014 16:36 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

The Last of Us: Remastered has a video available, and while it doesn’t show much footage, it gives you an idea of what to expect. While it’s mostly filled with accolades and the initial announcement, you should still give it a watch below. An interview featuring Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells on the Remastered edition was posted earlier.

The Last of Us: Remastered will release on PS4 this summer.

I hope they remaster the graphics, enemy AI, stealth mechanics, shooting mechanics, enhance the game difficulty (So as to require some level of actual thought or skill) and somehow mask over the generally repetitive nature of the game somehow. A complete overhaul of the multiplayer aspect of the game is also a must.

This is great :) As I have never owned a PS3 and now own a PS4, I get to play this game I have heard such great things about.

What a dumb way to showcase the ”remastered PS4” version.

    Footage would help.

@Yogosan Jealous xbot alert…The MP in tlou does not need an overhaul nor does the shooting or much of the game at all. General idiot detected.

@flamingweazel No, the game does need a lot of improvements. I really don’t know where everyone got that “game of the generation” thing from this game. Blind Sony fanboy detected.

@1 So basically you just don’t like the game. Literally nothing about it. So why are you even considering buying it again?

And a complete overhaul of multiplayer? Talking out your arse there mate the multiplayer on it was the mp game of the year i still play it a lot to this day.

So they did not change anything. It’s a port with PS4 emulator.

@Yogosan Go play in the hardes difficulty then comeback and talk about it not being hard enough, I can’t pass the crumbling building part.

    @Yogosan Yeah.

If they could improve the AI that would be already a MAJOR overhaul because a game that is based on STEALTH mechanics with poor AI. Not just poor but with the worst AI in the industry just does not work.

TLOU maybe have a good story but the gameplay is average with 3-4 enemy archetypes and dumb ai.

I thought Titanfall had the worst AI in the industry? You change opinions faster than you change diapers.

@Erthazus Is there a rule that a game with infected creatures has to have a wider spectrum of enemies? Gameplay was more about strategy then shooting. I can play any 3rd person shooter the same way on a higher difficulty but you can’t follow that logic with TLoU.

@Hcw87, for a FPS Titanfall has the worst AI in the industry.
for a stealth-action horror game TLOU has the worst AI in the industry. this shit happens all the time.

@marporte “Is there a rule that a game with infected creatures has to have a wider spectrum of enemies? ”

If it’s 10+ hours long then yeah.
there are moments in the game when designers are lazy and because they can’t make interesting enemies they put 2 bloaters for no reason at all so the strategy is only one, avoid them by sticking to the wall.

It’s a stealth game. There are third person games like Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid that requires by far much better strategy then in TLOU and enemy AI in these games are also smart and random.
