Battlefield 3 alpha and beta testing entry detailed

If you’re keen to get in on some Battlefield 3 testing, read on.

EA’s Battlefield blog confirms invites will be sent for DICE’s alpha testing of Battlefield 3.

This closed test will only allow in a select few, picking from those who register for the game’s newsletter and keep their Veteran status up to date.

The game’s beta, which will include players who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor, will kick off at an unspecified date in September.

DICE and EA have not ruled out the possibility of giving away beta keys through competitions, social media and press, so you can probably expect a few chances as we draw closer to the date.

Battlefield 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late October.

Thanks, Shack.

I got both e-mails since I have the Medal of Honor LE (which gives you (early?) access to the open beta in September) and I got the alpha for I guess like it said keeping my Veteran status up to date and subscribing to the Newsletter…should be noted that the Alpha Trial is PC only…

Also the Alpha Trial invites (at least mine) was sent out Friday and it is only taking place July 19th-August 1st
