Witcher part of the top 100 best-selling PC games
The Witcher now has the illustrious honor of being one of the top 100 best-selling PC games of all time.
According to a post made in the official Witcher forums by CD Projekt RED’s Karol Zajaczkowsk, the RPG has sold over 1.2 million copies, which caused the leap onto the list.
“According to our latest sales data, The Witcher has sold more than 1.2 million copies around the world”, he said.
“‘More numbers,’ you might say, but let me finish. Because of those numbers, The Witcher has jumped onto the list of the 100 bestselling PC games in history! Not bad, huh?”
Zajaczkowsk then went on to thank everyone who purchased the game. As you do.

Well they don’t really make RPGs like this anymore…so the game deserves a lot of sales!

they don’t make rpgs like this anymore? they never made any rpg like this before. this is something special, unique, different from any rpgs out there, except maybe for revenant. if there r ppl old enough around here to have played that, then they’ll know what i’m talking about, the combat style and the dark atmosphere. was awesome at the time. oh man if i could only find that game somewhere i would replay it again. maybe they’ll add that up on gog.com sometime soon.
anyway, congrats cd projekt. i bought and played the witcher and it’s worth at least double of what u charge for it. good game. cheers!

I’m happy, that at least one game from Poland made it to the best 100.
But, there’s also a sad part.
My PC isn’t able to run Witcher. I’m waiting for X360 version

how come ww3pl? i was able to run it on a desktop equipped with a p4 at 3ghz with 2gbs of ram and a 8600gt and on notebook with a core2duo at 2, 3gbs of ram and a 9600gt. and my settings were on medium or high. not very high i have to admit. but still, on medium it ran just fine. what kind of a dark ages pc do u have?
