Wii Civilization Revolution "on hold"

The Wii version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution has been put "on hold", publisher 2K has confirmed, leaving room to get Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs ready for action later this year.

"Development for the Wii version of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is currently on hold," a spokesperson for 2K Games said here. "We are focusing our attention on creating the best possible Civilization experience for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS platforms."

Nintendo fans can take solace in the fact that the DS version is still on the go.
