Steam in-house beta streaming beta sign-ups open

Valve has opened a Steam Group for potential Steam In-Home Strreaming beta participants.

To register your interest in participating, simply join the Steam In-Home Streaming group.

"This feature will be available for beta testing later this year. Beta participants will be randomly selected from members of this group, so join, have fun, and stay tuned for more details," the company advised.

Steam In-Home Streaming will allow users to stream games from one computer to another anywhere in the same house - meaning you only need Steam installed on one of your devices, and only need one account for a whole household, if you don't have scheduling clashes.

The beta's imminent arrival was uncovered in a recent test client update.

Thanks, PCGamer.
