Square Enix to air two new trailers at Spike VGX

Square Enix will bring at least two new trailers to Spike VGX this month; the publisher has quite an interesting selection of upcoming titles to pick from, too.

The news comes via Karl Stewart, one-time Tomb Raider brand manager and now marketing VP of Square Enix Europe and North America, sharing the hype on Twitter.

"Just reviewed the final cuts of both trailers we're showing at next Saturdays Spike TV VGX. Amazing stuff from the teams as ever. Cant wait," he said.

A quick survey of Square Enix's western studios turns up plenty of possibilities. Eidos Montreal is working on Thief; Crystal Dynamics has a new Tomb Raider in the works; and IO Interactive is devoted to Hitman. Final Fantasy 13: Lightning Returns is another possibility, although traditionally VGX tends to show off games further from release. On top of all that, Square Enix almost certainly has a bunch of games in the works we know nothing about as yet.

Spike VGX 2013 takes place on December 7. We're expecting to see big surprises from Titanfall and our first proper look at Quantum Break gameplay. There's a very, very slim chance we'll see Fallout 4, too; pretty sure this one is a fake.
