E3 2015: Skylanders SuperChargers has two new hybrid Amiibos

Two new Amiibos, one for Turbo Charged Donkey Kong and the other for Hammer Slam Bowser, have been announced for Skylanders SuperChargers.

The latest Skylanders game, Skylanders SuperChargers, will have two Nintendo guest characters and their toys, which happen to also double as Amiibos.

These are Turbo Charged Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser, both come with unique move-sets and upgrade tiers, inspired by their legacy in the Mario universe. Each also has a unique vehicle. The Barrel Blaster for Donkey Kong, and the Clown Cruiser for Bowser.

The base of each character can be twisted to work on either the Skylanders board, or the NFC reader on Nintendo systems. Nintendo said the new Amiibos will have presence in Nintendo games. The figures will also keep saved data in both modes.
