Rumour - Microsoft sending out Kinect beta invites

kinect

Joystiq's reporting that Microsoft's sent out invites to potential Kinect beta testers.

The site's carrying what appears to be an invite via Microsoft Connect to try out the motion tech before its November release.

It also mentions that because of an "audio change," players taking part in the scheme won't be able to chat with Live users via party or individual chat, which has led Joystiq to suggest the new Kinect-enabled dashboard may also be beta trialed.

We'll email MS.

Kinect launches on November 4 in the US. A European date hasn't been announced, but will most likely be at Microsoft's gamescom press conference in Germany next Tuesday.
