Rumor: Odin Sphere and Muramasa getting HD remakes

muramasa

Word on the showroom floor at TGS has it that Vanillaware plans to release Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade as downloadable ports.

This tasty nugget was handed over to 1UP by multiple sources, although the site wasn't told whether the ports were meant for PSN or XBL. However, 1UP expects it will be for both systems.

Odin Sphere was released on PS2 in the US back in 2007, and Muramasa hit Wii just last year.

Both are lovely games to look at in our opinion, and 1UP was told Muramasa's assets were "developed in HD first" so the port should be "relatively easy".

We'll send both Atlus and Ignition an email on this and see if anyone is free to spill the beans or stomp on the sprouts.

Yeah, bad analogy there. We apologize.
