Rooster Teeth contributor David “Knuckles Dawson” Dreger found deceased in West Vancouver

It's with sadness we report Rooster Teeth contributor David “Knuckles Dawson” Dreger, who had been missing was found deceased on June 20 near Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.

A search for Dreger had been conducted after his wallet and phone were found at home. Police found his bike and helmet on May 28 in Stanley Park, and friends and family noticed he had closed his Twitter and Xbox Live accounts and left a cryptic message on his website which was once devoted to games.

A statement from the family on the Facebook page devoted to aiding in his search issued the following statement:

"We are thankful that the prayers for discovery made by everyone during this time have been answered," wrote his sister, Danielle Dreger on the page. "It is with deep sadness that we must let you all know that David's body was discovered on June 20 near Ambleside Park. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers, support and compassion.

"David was an exceptional, bright, caring and loving young man. We consider ourselves blessed to have had him in our lives, and are comforted knowing that he is now embraced in the arms of our Lord."

VG247 offers its sincerest condolences to his family and friends in this time of sorrow.
