PlayStation Suite-exclusive content inbound

Compatible Android devices will soon benefit from "content which has been newly created for the PlayStation Suite and PlayStation Store", Sony Mobile chief marketing officer Steve Walker announced at the Mobile World Congress 2012.

"Sony Computer Entertainment has a vision for PlayStation Suite and they will be leveraging their powerful developer relationships to bring original content through the PlayStation Suite initiative. More to come on that," Walker said, as reported by Pocket Gamer.

The PlayStation Suite is a development environment native to all PlayStation certified devices, a field currently restricted to Tablet S, Tablet P and the Xperia Play, but expected to expand to third-party hardware as well as other Sony devices, including the Vita.

Sony's description of the platform paints it as a way to certify and promote quality mobile content, as well as bring existing PlayStation content to new devices more easily, but very little progress has been publicly visible.
