Planetside 2 will hit PlayStation 4 in early 2014

Speaking on video with Bloomberg, Sony Online boss John Smedley mentioned the anticipated release of popular online shooter Planetside 2 on the PlayStation 4.

"We're helping the Sony PlayStation 4 launch on November 15 by releasing DC Universe Online at launch, and we're following up that early next year with our next game, Planetside 2, on PS4," Smedley said. So you won't have to wait too long to get PS2 on PS4. Ahem.

Remember that you can't play with PC players on the PS4 and vice versa.
