Ori And The Blind Forest breaks onto Nintendo Switch next month

The rumours were true. Ori And The Blind Forest is heading to Nintendo Switch this September.

We'd guessed it might be coming earlier this week. Today's Indie World showcase sealed it, closing with a trailer for the 2016 indie platformer's release on Nintendo Switch in September.

Switch owners will be getting their hands on this year's Definitive Edition. The updated edition brings new areas, abilities and difficulty modes to Ori's quest.

Making a handheld return trip to the forest of Nibel should help tide you over, as developer Moon Studios sets to work on a sequel. Will Ori and the Will of the Wisps hit Switch alongside Xbox One and PC next year? Who can say?

Ori And The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition hits Nintendo Switch on September 27.
