OnLive reveals MultiView, 12 new games, in-browser updates

OnLive made a slew of announcements at E3, including a new MultiView feature, and a number of in-browser updates that should make it easier for gamers who want to demo games without the need to sign up to the cloud gaming service.

The new MultiView feature will allow players to utilise picture-in-picture display to communicate with friends through text and voice chat, and will also you to view what a team-mate is seeing.

New updates to the service's in-browser platform have been implemented, making it easier for users to demo the service without the need to sign up. The updates should essentially reduce the process to just two clicks for the majority of new users.

12 new titles were confirmed for the service before the year's end from the likes of Sega, Square Enix, and Namco Bandai.

The full list is as follows:

  • Aliens: Colonial Marines (Sega)
  • The Cave (Sega)
  • Darksiders 2 (THQ)
  • Hell Yeah! (Sega)
  • Hitman: Absolution (Square Enix)
  • Inversion (Namco Bandai)
  • London 2012 (Sega)
  • Metro: Last Light (THQ)
  • Ravaged (2 Dawn Games)
  • Saints Row: The Third: Enter the Dominatrix (THQ)
  • Sid Meier's Civilization 5: Gods and Kings (2K Games)
