Nintendo E3 2016: Pokemon Sun and Moon, Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest streams confirmed

The Legend of Zelda won't be the only thing Nintendo shows to the public to celebrate E3 2016.

Having previously said it was skipping the traditional E3 Nintendo Presents in favour of a show devoted purely to The Legend of Zelda Wii U, the platform holder has announced a series of livestreamed presentations focused on other titles.

Here's the schedule:

  • June 14: stream starts 9:00am PT
Pokemon Sun and Moon "in action", The Legend of Zelda world premiere, Nintendo Treehouse Live.
  • June 15: stream starts at 10:00am PT
Pokemon GO developer Q&A session, Nintendo Treehouse Live including Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest 7: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

There may be a few surprises, too, as Nintendo seems pretty keen on short PR cycles nowadays and is so unpredictable that we never dare to guess what it might suddenly burst out with. Did anybody expect it to start selling Amiibo? And yet here we are, knee-deep in them.

Don't expect anything earth-shattering, though. Nintendo has said repeatedly that the NX will not be on show. We expect it to be detailed later in the year ahead of a first-half 2017 launch.

If you're planning your viewing schedule or looking for clues on what we'll see from this year's show, our E3 2016 info hub has everything you need to know.
