Mortal Kombat X - Ferra/Torr's Combos, Fatality and Brutalities

Learn Ferra/Torr's combos, brutality and fatality moves in Mortal Kombat X.

This article will cover Ferra/Torr, detailing the various combos, variants, brutalities and even the fatality that the duo are capable of. We'll include instructions for each one, including default button layouts for the PS4 and Xbox One, as well as the universal notation for those who might be using custom configurations, or perhaps playing on the PC.

In case you've yet to buy the game, we highly suggest reading our in-depth Mortal Kombat X review before you do. Once you've got the game in hand and you're ready to lay a hurting on some folks, be sure to head back here to learn everything you need to know about Ferra/Torr.

Note: Just so there isn't any confusion with players who have yet to enjoy Mortal Kombat X, or any of the previous iterations, how we write out the button inputs for moves and combinations is very important. For example, Down, Down + Circle would mean that you press Down, then you press Down again while simultaneously pressing the Circle button. A plus sign indicates that you must press those buttons at the same time, while a comma indicates that you'd press one, then move on to the next.

Additionally, we will continue to update these character articles as we go, since some of them may not contain complete move lists or information. Be sure to check back to stay up to date.

Mortal Kombat X - Notation Key

Note: The notation is there for those who like to change their button configurations, use a stick, or are just playing on PC. The PS4 and Xbox One controls are the default, so if you've changed them you'll need to refer to the notation instead.

  • 1 - Square/X
  • 2 - Triangle/Y
  • 3 - X/A
  • 4 - Circle/B

Mortal Kombat X Ferra/Torr Vicious Variant

Boss Toss

This move will be the reason that people favor this variant over the others. The Boss Toss is a projectile that consumes all other projectiles, then continues on to strike its target. For example, if Sub-Zero were to set an Ice Clone in front of him, followed by an Ice Ball attack, the Boss Toss would eat both of these, then continue on to damage Sub-Zero.

  • Notation: Back, Forward + 4
  • PS4: Back, Forward + Circle
  • Xbox One: Back, Forward + B

Mortal Kombat X Ferra/Torr Ruthless Variant

Pain and Gain

This special move will provide a damage bump for Ferra/Torr, much the same way the High Tech variant did for Jacqui Briggs. You will know it's active when Torr is bleeding, and when Torr stops bleeding, the damage increase is no longer applied.

  • Notation: Down, Down + 1
  • PS4: Down, Down + Square
  • Xbox One: Down, Down + X

Mortal Kombat X Ferra/Torr Lackey Variant

This variant will actually see Torr by himself, with Ferra sitting this one out. In some respects this is a good thing since it allows for faster execution of attacks, such as the Crouching Jab. Like anything, it's balanced out by other attacks either being slower or unsafe. One advantage of note is that you won't have to wait for Ferra to return to your back, and you'll be able to pull off all of the moves at your own personal convenience.

Mortal Kombat X Ferra/Torr Fatality

  • Notation: Forward, Back, Forward, Back + 3 (Close)
  • PS4: Forward, Back, Forward, Back + X
  • Xbox One: Forward, Back, Forward, Back + A

Mortal Kombat X Ferra/Torr Brutalities

Note: Brutalities require that players complete in-game tasks during a match before they can be used. At this time we don't have them all, so keep in mind that the button combinations alone are not enough. We'll be sure to update this piece as soon as we have the complete picture.

  • Notation: Back, Forward + 3
  • PS4: Back, Forward + X
  • Xbox One: Back, Forward + A
