Media Molecule offers rare art, in-game item for charity auction

Media Molecule is offering four unique, original LittleBigPlanet artworks to the Play for Japan relief fund auctions, as well as giving players the chance to purchase one of the coveted crowns, with proceeds going straight into charity coffers.

Each of the four artworks includes concept material used in the creation of Sackboy by artist Francis.

All four will arrive complete with a special edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 signed by the entire development team, originally intended for Media Molecule staff themselves, but kindly donated.

Meanwhile, another auction offers an in-game crown for your Sackboy. Normally reserved for competition winners and star creators, the very rare hat is already valued at over $500. Gosh.

Have a look at the listings on eBay. The Media Molecule blog has all the details.

Thanks, Joystiq.
