Kane & Lynch 2: Fragile Alliance mode detailed

K&L2FAMP

Eidos has provided a bit more information on the Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, and released some assets to go along with it.

According to the official site:

"Fragile Alliance is all about greed, betrayal and revenge. Basic rules are simple – you perform a heist with seven other people. You go in, steal some well-protected cash and get out in less than four minutes. If you get away with the most money after three heists, you win. Everyone shares in the loot but if you’re crafty and feel like not sharing that’s an option too. All you have to do it blow away your heist buddies, turn traitor, grab the money and make a run for it."

Any player killed will then respawn as a police officer and also gets a bonus for blowing away the fella that killed him.

The developers have also added campaign features to the the mode including: down not dead, human shield, and explosive canisters.

The betrayal aspect has been balanced in PvP, which means "it’s going to take some effort to become a traitor and a lot more effort to get away with your 30 silver coins once you’ve betrayed the group".

The reward system was changed to balance the game modes and to reward players that do most of the work in the heists.

Kane & Lynch 2 is out at the end of August 24 in the US and August 27 in Europe for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
