Infinity Blade II environments change over time

With the sequel to its smash-hit iOS game, Infinity Blade II, Chair has injected more variety into the environments.

"Over time, the castles change," creative director Donal Mustard notes in Gamespot's latest developer diary.

"You'll come to one area, and you'll notice this awesome coliseum. When you come back, you'll notice a tree is overgrowing [it]. When you come back later, you'll notice that tree is taking over the entire castle."

The environments aren't restricted to just one location this time, either, with players visiting "everything from an ancient pagoda to a wrecked and ruined prison fortress".

Infinity Blade II releases in early December exclusively for iPad 2.
