Gears of War 2 huge multiplayer XP boost this weekend

Not to be outdone by Red Dead Redemption's big XP boost weekend, Epic Games has more than one-upped the competition.

This weekend, Gears of War 2 players will receive 21 times the normal experience gain from playing online.

The event will last until July 5th. It is being celebrated as America's Independence Day and Epic's "XP guru" Joe Graf's birthday collide.

So if you're still playing Gears of War 2 online make sure you block out your schedule and give yourself plenty of time to saw up some locust for this epic opportunity.
