GC08: Lich King beta to see 80 level cap "very soon"

Speaking to IGN at Games Convention, World of Warcraft design head Tom Chilton said the level cap in the Wrath of the Lich King beta is about to be raised to 80.
"We should be raising the level cap to 80 in the beta very soon at which point almost all the content will be available," he said. "So there's not a whole lot left to test, just a lot of tuning and polishing."
