Final Fantasy Type-0 HD director Hajime Tabata took part in a Reddit AMA yesterday, and answered a variety of questions pertaining to the game and Final Fantasy 15.
According to Tabata, the first playthrough of the game will last around 40 hours, but "the real fun" starts from the second playthrough which contains new events. This ups the playtime to over 100 hours.
The game will contain Japanese voiceovers, the European versions will contain both English and Japanese as well as English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles.
All of the accessories included in the original PSP version can be obtained in-game, and the Members’ Site rewards have also been incorporated into the game itself.
The design for the Crimson mission events is the same as the PSP version, but new scenes for the HD version have also been added, so Tabata said players should do their best to unlock and view those events.
Tabata also confirmed that the Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae demo will be included for a limited time with a Type-0 HD digital purchase as well as the retail version.
He said the team is doing its "best to have the demo playable with the release of Type-0 HD," but it is still working on optimizing the system; therefore he couldn't provide a release date for the demo.
Tabata confirmed a jump feature and the Phantom Sword would both be included in Episode Duscae. Players of the demo will also find out if Cindy is this game’s “Cid”.
