EVO 2020 will be held online this year due to COVID-19

The organizers of EVO 2020 have announced the annual fighting tournament will not take place at Mandalay Bay this year.

Evo 2020 was set to take place at the Mandalay Bay resort, casino, and convention center in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 31 - August 2.

Instead, due to COVID-19, it will take place digitally at some point this summer, according to an official announcement.

All arena tickets and hotel room reservations will be refunded automatically, according to organizers, and a form for tournament registration will be made available next week.

While more information is promised at a later date, you can expect the following games to be part of the tournament: Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Tekken 7, SoulCalibur 6, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Samurai Shodown, Under Night In-Birth, Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Invitational) - but not Mortal Kombat 11.
