EA holds company-wide meeting, Black Box sees mass lay-offs

Kotaku's rumouring that Black Box has seen 150-200 staff laid off today following a company-wide meeting held at EA Canada.

CEO John Ricittiello is said to have headed up the shindig.

The news comes the day after Skate 2 - developed by Black Box - released in the US.

The outfit employs around 350 people.

EA has said it will go into fuller details on restructuring - announced to the tune to 1,000 staff - in its next earnings call on February 3.
