Don't Starve players will get Shipwrecked this fall

This fall, Don't Starve players can try their hand at a new single-player expansion titled Shipwrecked.

Co-developed with Super Time Force studio Capy, the expansion includes new biomes, characters, creatures, seasonal effects, and the other zany cast of characters from the core game.

Players will take a "sea-bound journey of exploration and adaptation" all the while trying not to starve to death.

This news pleases me greatly. While it doesn't seem like much, I've put around 62 hours into the game. That's my game screen above. I've been on a break for a few weeks, because I became slightly obsessed with it and wouldn't stop playing long enough to make dinner. The "husband" became a bit perturbed over all the "fend for yourself" nights, and he can't cook, so... yon't care about these things. I'll shut up. Sorry.

Moving on, Don't Starve is on sale this weekend through Steam at 50% off the normal price. If you haven't given it a try, you should as it's only $7.49 at the moment. After August 3 it goes back to being $14.99.
