Crash Bandicoot is rumoured to be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's next character

The recent reveal of Byleth for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has given credence to a leak from October.

When Twitter user @Mandycannot leaked in October last year that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's next DLC character would be Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Byleth, few believed him.

But now that Byleth has been officially confirmed for Smash, their other leaks are now being taken more seriously. At the time, Mandycannot also said that Crash Bandicoot would follow.

"The main reason i started posting to Twitter was to build a resume for myself," they wrote earlier this week.

"I did not want to become 'out there' until Crash officially came to be with the other info. This is my last tweet regarding any leak until Crash is revealed for Fighter Pack 6."

There's obviously no guarantee that just because one leak/speculation turned out to be true that everything else is, so it's worth taking this information of a grain of salt.

With that said, Mandycannot did correctly leak the Smash Direct's date, and the fact that Mortal Kombat 11 would be at The Game Awards 2019 before this information became public.
