Batman: Arkham Origins Wii U DLC cancelled, Warner. Bros. confirms

Batman: Arkham Origins DLC will not be released on Wii U, Warner. Bros has confirmed.

"Based on demand for DLC content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming all-new story campaign for Wii U," a PR representative for Warner. Bros told VG247.

We fired off a query after AllGamesBeta posted an email allegedly from Nintendo of America's customer support, offering refunds on the game's season pass.

Wii U fans have been uncertain about the prospect of the DLC's release for some time; announcements failed to mention a Wii U release for DLC as early as June 2013.

This won't be the first time the Wii U has gone neglected when it came to DLC; Injustice DLC was very late, and Ubisoft elected not to bring Assassin's Creed DLC over at all.
