Atlus to publish Game of Thrones RPG

Atlus US has nabbed the publishing rights to Cyanide's upcoming RPG based on George RR Martin's fantasy epic, a Song of Ice and Fire - better known to recent fans by the name of its HBO adaptation, Game of Thrones.

USA Today reports the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release will feature clips from the HBO series.

Little is known about the RPG, except that Martin has written its story - and that it's been in development for quite some time.

Cyanide is also behind the recent strategy release, A Game of Thrones: Genesis.

Two more adaptations, a free to play MMO from Bigpoint and a social network games, are also inbound.
