Atari announced as TERA's North American publisher

En Masse Entertainment has announced that Atari will publish the firm's MMO, TERA, in North American this year.

Tera is a fantasy MMO which will have players relying on skill more than experience or stats, and actions can change the balance of power as seven allied races try to work together to protect their lands from monsters, underworld inhabitants, and some self-serving gods.

Classes in the game are: Warrior, Sorcerer, Slayer, Priest, Mystic, Lancer, and Berserker.

You can watch skill videos for each here.

En Masse was founded by Jae-Heon Yang, NCsoft's former chief technology office,r and is part of South Korean online game company Bluehole Studio. It is the co-producer of the game, while Bluehole is the developer.

The studio has numerous game folks working in the Seattle office from: Blizzard, Microsoft, EA, ArenaNet and NCsoft.

TERA is expected to release in Europe this year on PC as well.
