Analyst: Call of Duty lawsuit may have cost "tens of millions"

Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz has estimated that the legal wrangles with ex-Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella have cost Activision "tens of millions," as reported by Gamespot.
The dispite over unpaid royalties, which launched when the pair were fired from the developer in 2010, was settled in May. Terms weren't disclosed.
Creutz predicted that the costs will have little impact on Activision's financials, which are to be announced on Thursday.
The publisher will be in good health financials, he added, thanks in part to an estimated 8 million sales of Diablo III in recent months.
