Epic Games might be bringing a chicken-themed skin designed by an 8-year old fan to Fortnite

An 8-year old Fortnite fan may be in for a treat if it turns out that Epic is using the skin concept he thought up in the game.

A couple of months ago, the father of an 8-year old Fortnite fan posted his son's concept for a chicken-themed skin called Chicken Trooper over on Reddit, which was later prettied up by redditor Etsyturtle2 and reimagined as Tender Defender, and it looks like it may just be coming to the game.

VGR pointed to a comment further in the thread in which Etsyturtle2 told fellow redditors that the skin is on the way, saying that they had spoken to Epic directly.

The site also posted a screenshot from the Lonely Lodge Watchtower showing feathers strewn across the floor.

And finally, dataminer @FBR_Fortnitee on Twitter posted images of a skin called Tender Defender that looks exactly like Etsyturtle2's drawing, glider and all.

We'll have to wait for the skin to drop to see if Epic will credit its pint-sized fan for the idea, but for the moment all signs are pointing to one happy little chappy.
