Fornite update 1.8 is live and brings with it a Halloween event along with new content and upgrades to both Save the World and Battle Royale.
Dubbed Fortnitemares, update 1.8 introduces fun Halloween content to Fortnite’s PvE starting today.
Here, Save the World players will partake in original story missions across the new Hexsylvania area. There, they will encounter new Halloween creatures, weapons, and other spooky content.
The update also brings leaderboards and Season Levels to Battle Royale, player progression, cosmetic items for heroes, and quality-of-life-improvements. Many of the changes were outlined earlier this month.
Along with the aforementioned, new outfits, gliders and pickaxes are available in the item shop.
