Atlus has announced a release date for Persona 5, but only for Japan.

The announcement was made during the company's Persona 5 broadcast and a new gameplay trailer was shown. The video also features a look at some of the new characters, as seen below.
Persona 5 will also be present at E3 2016 next month. Hopefully, this means a western release date will be announced.
Originally expected during Q4 2015 for release in Japan and North America, Atlus announced at TGS last year the game had been delayed into 2016.
Persona 5 is a PlayStation 4 exclusive and will release in Japan on September 18.
