Persona 5 has been delayed into 2016 but this TGS 2015 trailer may soften the blow

Everyone was expecting Persona 5 to be released on PlayStation 3 and PS4 later this year, but unfortunately, it has been delayed into next year.

Atlus announced at TGS 2015 today the game would arrive in Japan during summer 2016, after initially being slated for a worldwide release this winter.

The firm said it delayed the game in order to make sure the next iteration of the Persona series "lives up to the expectations of fans."

A new release window for Europe and North America wasn't provided.

With the bad news out of the way, the good news is we get a look at more of the game via a TGS trailer released today out of the show.

It's posted below.
