Destiny: Mars guide

____________________

Destiny's story starts in the ruins of the Cosmodrome on Earth, but as players chase down the elusive trail of clues leading to the final boss their journey draws inexorably to Mars, the planet of war. Dominated by the Cabal, a military race locked in pressurised armour mimicking the gravity of their home world, it is also home to a powerful Vex presence, although nobody seems to understand why - until now.

The landscape of Mars is mostly desert, with rugged canyons and perilous cliffs giving way to breathtaking views. The remains of humanity's once-powerful presence here are more than obvious, and the contrast between these shattered cities and the Cabal's well-maintained outposts is marked.

Mars is the most difficult of the Destinations, with level 18 story missions and enemies to match, so you'll want to be pretty well kitted-out to explore its barren surface.

This Mars Destination guide is the third part of our full Destiny walkthrough. It combines step-by-step mission walkthroughs, a treasure hunting guide, and tips and tactics for the Strikes.

Grab what you need, Guardian. It’s a tough old world out there.
