It looks as though some UK retailers have broken the street date for Halo: Reach.

Bungie was on-hand at Comic-Con last week with Halo: Reach in tow, allowing folks at the San Diego Convention Center to sample the title.
An attendee at the event, calling himself Voltron64x, was lucky enough to try his hand at the Reach remake of Blood Gulch from Halo 1, and his moment of glory was videoed for posterity.

Bungie has detailed the Player Investment system in Halo: Reach, which according to G4 was influenced by “RPG level-based multiplayer experiences” found in games like Modern Warfare 2.

Bungie has been a bit quiet regarding multiplayer features in Halo: Reach, but Shack twisted the development team’s arm and got some information on Active Rosters, Queue-Joining, and the Arena system.

Bungie has said that it may one day revisit the Halo series, stating that Reach being considered its swan song is a bit “premature”.
