Dead or Alive 5 Plus has Cross Play, Cross Save, Cross Buy DLC
Dead or Alive 5 Plus, the Vita version of Team Ninja’s latest fighter, will support Cross Play, Cross Save and Cross Buy DLC, Siliconera reports. That means portable players will be able to challenge PlayStation 3 rivals and vice versa; you can take your story progress with you when you switch systems; and any costumes you’ve purchased or otherwise obtained for your bouncing brawlers will be available in both versions. Dead or Alive 5 Plus is expected on March 19 in the US and March 22 in Europe. More details can be found through the US and EU PS Blogs.

Sony in talks with third-party publishers for Cross Buy promotions
Sony is currently in discussion with third-party publishers to adopt the Cross Buy scheme. The service, which gifts free Vita games to player who have bought a compatible PS3 title, is not a reaction to discount trends across the gaming market, says the company.

New PS Vita Trailer shows off cross-play, party features, more
Sony has released a new PS Vita trailer and it showcases various features of the handheld including cross-play between Vita and the PS3, the handheld’s party features, a new feature called PS More and lots of other cool stuff.
The trailer’s also got blink-and-you’ll-miss it gameplay footage of various PS Vita titles including the likes of Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet. It’s pretty cool and you should check it out below.
