Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced a release date for Gran Turismo Sport.

The racer will feature a livery editor, 137 premium cars and 19 different locations. Two new tracks, the Northern Isle Speedway and a Tokyo street circuit, will also be introduced. A photo mode called Scapes will also be included which outputs at 4K resolution.

eSports will factor in via the new Sport mode which will provide players with scheduled events. These allows players to compete for a real-life FIA licence.

Pre-orders for retail, limited and digital editions open today. The Collector’s Edition includes a miniature model of the Mercedes-AMG GTS and a guide written by the experts at Polyphony Digital themselves.

A Steel Book Edition and Bonus Edition will contain a selection of digital exclusives and extras. Selected retailers will also offer head start packs, so be sure and check with your favorite store. You can also pre-order via the PS Store. The link provided by Sony doesn't seem to be working at the moment though.

The GT Sport Limited Edition is priced at $69.99 and comes with the following content:

• GT Sport Starter Pack (8x Cars) – Gain immediate access to cars within various race class, including GT4, Rally, and more
• $1MM In-Game Credit – Build and customize your personalized garage
• Livery Sticker Pack – Bonus livery of numerous brands and logos
• 30x PS4 GT Sport Themed Avatars – Based on selected GT Sport featured vehicles
• Racing Helmet – For your customized driver profile
• Limited Edition Steel Book and Packaging

GameStop customers in the US who pre-order any version of the game will net two Early Access Bonus Cars: Chevrolet Corvette Group 3 & Nissan NISMO GT-R GT3 N24.

PlayStation Store pre-orders include GT Themed PS4 Avatars, GT Sport Dynamic Theme and $500,000 in-game credit.

Pre-orders through Amazon come with $500,000 in-game credit.

Gran Turismo Sport will be released on November 15 in North America and November 18 in the UK.

A livestream featuring the first look at gameplay will kick off at 10.45am PT/1.45pm ET/6.45pm UK.
