Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will release on Xbox 360 next week 

Rockstar has confirmed that GTA: San Andreas will be released on Xbox 360 with snazzier graphics.

The news was posted on IGN , after Xbox 360 Achievements were leaked earlier this week.

It comes with updated graphics supporting 720p resolution, better draw distances, and an additional 11 Achievements which weren't noted in the leaked list.

The Xbox Originals version of GTA: San Andreas is no longer available on the XBL Marketplace, as the updated version will be will replace it through Games on Demand starting October 26.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was originally released on PS2 in 2004 before arriving the following year on PC and the original Xbox.

In subsequent years, the game was ported to OS X, Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and mobile devices.

Rockstar is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the title with throwback jobs based on the title and a special event this weekend in GTA Online.
