The Crew is coming to Xbox 360 but not PS3 - new trailer

Ubisoft has announced that it's open-world racer The Crew, thought to be a new-gen only game, will have a last-gen release - but only on Xbox 360. There's also a new trailer to cast your eyes over.

The news emerged at gamescom this morning. The Xbox 360 version is developed by Asobo Studio, who previously made Fuel. At the moment we haven't been given a reason why it's not coming to PS3.

A second closed beta for The Crew is running from August 25-29, and you can sign up for it now on both PC and new-gen console. The game is release on PC and new-gen on November 11, and we assume the Xbox 360 version will follow suit. We'll confirm it when we can.
