Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix teased in Black Flag – report

Monday, 4th November 2013 09:20 GMT By Dave Cook

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is said to house an easter egg pertaining to Rising Phoenix, an alleged game in development at Ubisoft. It follows rumours and leaked artwork from the mysterious title. SPOILERS INSIDE.

We reported on the leaked Assassin’s Creed: Rising Phoenix artwork back in March, but now it seems that the project is being teased by Ubisoft.

IgoGaming reports that it while playing Black Flag’s modern day sections, it stumbled across a sticker for Rising Phoenix. You can see it here.

It can be accessed after sequence 6, in the level 2 security areas of the Abstergo offices.

Does this confirm the game’s existence? Maybe not, but it’s something Ubisoft seems happy to show off in easter egg form at least.

What do you think?

Meanwhile, here’s my opinion blog on why Assassin’s Creed 4 shows that listening to your critics works.

    @1 – Doubt it. Ubi said Vita wouldn’t be getting its own AC this time round…

    They’re making these games faster than I can play them. Calm down Ubisoft.

    @3 Well there are probably 2 AC already being heavily developed for 2014 and 2015.

    @2 unless you have a link I don’t think they ever said they weren’t making a game for vita. They have said they were happy with liberation vita sales and have more vita titles in dev and this could be one of them.

    @5 –

    @6 – to be fair 95% of gaming sites just copy & paste articles from other sources. VG is not unique to that… Nice name btw! lol
