Far Cry 3′s dramatic opening sequence: watch it here

Many Far Cry fans have wondered: ‘How do you end up on the island in the first place? When does it all first go wrong?’ well, find out what happens next, after the jump. Literally.

Far Cry 3 sees you playing as the character Jason Brody who, sadly, has hit upon hard times by ending up on a mysterious island which is constantly trying to kill him. Worst vacation ever.

Shame though. Looked like they were having loads of fun.

In my personal opinion, it’s one of the greatest openings to a game ever, but that might just be because of the great soundtrack (Paper Planes by M.I.A).

Far Cry 3 is out November 29 in Europe, November 30 in the UK and December 4 in the US for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
