Portal 2 gets second PC patch

The PC version of Portal has received its second patch inside of a week, thanks to Valve’s updating efforts via Steam.

Steam’s official web site has the patch list.

A couple of the bug fixes included dealing with things like players getting stuck at the start of Chapter Six section, and having joystick support set to off by default “in order to avoid issues with non-joystick hardware that registers itself as a joystick.”

Valve has already announced plans to release a free DLC pack with new test chambers, a challenge mode and more sometime this summer.

Oh yeah, endless patching. The bane of every Valve-game of recent years. Need to hurry and finish the co op campaign so I can uninstall.
