Battlefield 3 – Full “Fault Line” gameplay video released
Below is the new 12 minute video for Battlefield 3. You liked it enough times on Facebook, now you get to watch it.
The Battlefield Facebook page still needs “likes”, though, in order to unlock the producer’s commentary video.
Yesterday, a really short Battlefield 3 trailer was also released, showing a bit of gameplay footage as well as jets and base jumping.
Battlefield 3 will be released on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 later in the year, with rumors putting it at retail November 2.

skepitcal about the melee combat.
alot of the scenes are scripted but not a bad thing
great graphics but not better than Cryengine 2/3.
I’m more interested in Multiplayer rather than failed story…battlefield can never tell good story and they should just focus on what they do best which is Multiplayer.
this videos are spoiling me, i hope the graphics would look good and passable on ps3:(

Actually 1million was never reached. It’s at about 700k and when 1million is reached they will release a commentary version.

I’m a little worried by how much it looks like BC2 so far. The artstyle is obviously being carried over, with the ridiculous glare effects and what not. I really really hope they tune up the multiplayer system, especially levelling and the general movement/shooting mechanics, and weapons balance.
The mocap is some of the best I’ve ever seen though. What I don’t get is why the first person running animation has to look so stupid when the rest of the movement looks amazing.
That’s always been a tricky thing with shooters, though.

100% Agree.Also its appear that again you can’t strafe running
Also i would love if they add sliding because in MP you always run and it would be very useful and realistic.

it kind of bothered me at the end that all the cars exploded in identical fashion… and I mean like, full animation recycled

@9 I think that’s just a placeholder thing. All the cars are identical as well. I mean it might be Iran, but I’m fairly sure they have more than blue and white Khodros and Saipas.
It’s a bit weirder that their WP grenades seem to produce a dissolving white mist rather than smoke

Nice as before but theres still nothing new. I’m guessing the commentary will be more interesting.

Graphics look good, gameplay looks good, story looks as if it will be better than Bad Company 2 but tbh I’m only interested in the multiplayer so come on give us some footage!
