2K Games has released four new DLC packs for Mafia II, which are detailed below.

Each one is available on Steam, PSN and XBL for $2.99/240 MSP and were pre-order packs originally offered through retailer outlets such as Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop.

Here’s what you’ll get for your money:

  • Vegas Pack: Get a taste of old school Vegas in this new downloadable content pack from Mafia II. Bring a taste of Vegas to Empire Bay as you cruise through the town in 2 new cars with smooth handling and timeless lines. Vito shows his Vegas style in 2 new suits.
  • War Hero Pack: The ‘40s wouldn’t be complete without a war hero. Vito plays the role well in the War Hero add-on pack. Drive two military style vehicles and notice the superior handling in all weather conditions. Vito looks sharp in two new military outfits including fatigues and a dress uniform.
  • Renegade Pack: Show off your inner renegade in this new add-on pack. Start with two new cars, one with the slick styling and tight handling of a small sports coupe and the other with the revved up engine of a ‘50s hot rod. Outfit Vito in two new suits including leather and lettermen’s jackets to fit his renegade persona.
  • Greaser Pack: The Mafia II Greaser downloadable pack is all about speed. These two new hot-rod speedsters will win you pink slips every time. Pair that with two new suits for Vito, one with leather jacket and heavy boots, the other a leather racing suit, and get ready to start your engines

Another bit of DLC, Joe’s Adventures is slated for later this year. no date for it yet.

At least this bit will tide you over until then. Watch the video below, courtesy of Blue’s News.

Sigh….the game isn’t even fun for free roaming , so what the hell do you want with a few new vehicles. And free? Nope…free is not something that seems to exist anymore.

First they release DLC ONE WEEK after the game’s release, content that obviously was in the game at first but taken out to have people pay for it.

I did buy the game when it came out, i finished it…had a few really cool missions but at the end of the day, when i look back at it, it’s nothing really special imo.

Look, this game, main game – Mafia 2 – is bad. Seriously. Buy Saboteur, Saints Row 2, GTA4, Godfather 2 instead. Just stay away from Mafia 2. Especially on consoles.

If you want something similar badly try Godfather 2 and Saboteur. The former is ok, the latter is really good.

Saboteur = pretty cool and a nice new setting for a freeroam game
Saints Row 2 = fun game, co-op is also fun, if you can forget that this is probz 1 of the worst ports and you can deal with the glitches and framerate then you’ll be alright
GTA4 = Everyone knows GTA, this just adds a new realism twist to it. The DLC’s pretty much added back some of the classic features parachuting etc
Godfather 2 = fun for a while but you will get tired of the same old, attack building, take over building, defend building, repeat with a different building. It is nice to go around with 3 other guys though.
