Save the Videogame campaign launches in UK

The Save the Videogame campaign launches at Nottingham’s GameCity Three festival, which takes place next week, from 30th October to 1st November, reports EG.

The campaign is being run by the National Videogame Archive who wants your help deciding which videogames to vault and then present to future generation as cultural milestones.

We’re going for Defender and Gears of War, naturally.

They need to vault two copies of everything ever released. So that we can repopulate the world with games after the fall of humanity. Like Noah.

I think it’s important to archive the shite too, otherwise how will we ever learn. The last thing we need are Rise of the Robots deniers.
