Wii U: under 40,000 consoles sold across America in April - rumour

Nintendo's Wii U sale woes could be continuing, according to a batch of allegedly leaked NPD sales figures currently doing the rounds. Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has suggested that the numbers are mostly accurate. If true, then only 38,000 Wii U consoles were sold across North America in April.
The above exchange saw Pachter stating that all but the 3DS NPD figures seemed accurate, although as nothing has been confirmed yet, please do treat his as rumour for now.
