BBC iPlayer can now be downloaded for Wii U through UK eShop

Wii U users in the UK can now download the BBC iPlayer onto their console.
All you have to do is load up the eShop and download the 94MB file to watch a selection of on-demand programming.
As with the iPlayer Smart TV app, users can watch programming off-screen by using the Wii U GamePad.
Nintendo Life said the app also supports HD playback.
