Sudden Strike 4 has snuck up on us with appropriate suddenness, with the game now available on PC and PS4.

The trailer says that you'll be able to come up with your own tactics and try out different strategies, so there won't be a 'correct' way of winning specific battles. The description beneath the video promises that "bigger battlefields, more units, better graphics and new scenarios await you in a historically authentic World War 2 setting that challenges your tactical skills in a way that none of its predecessors ever have before."

The trailer shows off not only the game's campaign, but also its modding support and Steam Workshop integration, which will let modders create maps, scenarios and campaigns.

There are also multiplayer options for up to eight players, letting you take part in skirmishes against one another.

The game is currently available, and judging by Metacritic the first few reviews are relatively positive. If you're a strategy fan, it might be worth a look.
