Soul Calibur: Lost Swords technical issues cause launch delay in the Americas

Soul Calibur: Lost Swords users in North and South America are having a hard time logging into the PS3 game.

Because of this, Bandai Namco America has noted a technical issue with the online fighter, so it has "delayed the launch of the game" as it works through the issue.

"We have discovered that the issue requires a resolution across multiple parties and therefore our efforts to remedy the issue is taking longer than anticipated," said the firm on the game's Facebook page.

"Currently we are working feverishly with a key partner to implement a solution in the shortest amount of time possible."

The free-to-play game is still available for download through the PlayStation Store, just know that until the issue is fixed, you won't be able to play the game because you have to be online to do so - single and multiplayer.

The launch trailer is below.
